Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Our journey begins with a drive through the stunning Rif Mountains, passing the city of Tetouan. We’ll take a break to appreciate the beautiful landscape at the foothills of the Rif Mountains in Chefchaouen. This city’s medina showcases Spanish architectural influences from its time as part of “Spanish Morocco.” The vibrant square is filled with colorful artisanal shops, rooftop restaurants, and cafes. Spend the evening enjoying the charming atmosphere of a local Riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes

After breakfast, we head towards Volubilis, traveling through Ouazzane and other Rif villages. At Volubilis, we’ll explore Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history before moving on to Meknes for lunch and a visit to the historical medina walls, Bab el Mansour, and the Moulay Ismail shrine. We’ll arrive in Fes in the late afternoon to spend the night.

Day 3: Exploring Fes

We’ll explore the oldest city in Morocco, winding through its narrow streets. Our tour includes the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish quarter with Morocco’s first Mellah, the ancient Al Qaraouine University, Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, visit various cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view over the Fes medina.

Day 4: Fes – Merzouga Desert

Our journey continues towards the Atlas Mountains with a stop at the village of Ifrane and a visit to the famous cedar forest, home to Berber apes. We’ll proceed through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge, pausing for photos and mint tea, then continue to Merzouga. We’ll arrive at our campsite to spend the night.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorges

After waking up, we’ll head to a local hotel for breakfast. Our journey continues to Ouarzazate, passing Berber villages and visiting the Todra and Dades Gorges. We’ll stay overnight at a hotel in the Dades Gorge and enjoy a complimentary dinner.

Day 6: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, we travel to Ouarzazate along the path of a thousand Kasbahs, stopping at Kalaat Mgouna, the center of the Valley of Roses, known for its annual Rose Festival. Our journey continues to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its use as a film location for Game of Thrones and movies like Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.

Day 7: Ait Benhaddou – Essaouira

We’ll take the Tizi-n-Tichka Mountain pass to Marrakech, heading towards the Atlantic coast to Essaouira, known as the Pearl of the Atlantic. After checking in at a local riad, we’ll enjoy a sunset view from the Murallas and dine on the city’s freshest fish.

Day 8: Essaouira Guided Tour

Explore the ancient city of Mogador, famed for its beautiful coastal scenery, blue and white medina, lengthy beaches, and historic Portuguese citadel walls. We’ll spend the night in a local riad.

Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakesh

After lunch at the port, we’ll travel to Marrakesh, arriving in the evening to spend the night in a local riad or hotel.

Day 10: Marrakesh Guided Tour

We’ll have a guided tour of Marrakesh, exploring main attractions like the Jamma el Fna square, Koutoubia mosque, souks, palaces, and museums. We’ll also visit Gueliz, The Menara Gardens, and Majorelle. After lunch, you’ll have free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 11: Marrakesh Airport

We’ll ensure a punctual transfer to the airport for your departure.
