Itinerary Morocco 2-Day Desert Tour from Fest to Merzouga
Day 1: Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga
Begin your private tour with a drive through the Atlas Mountains, stopping to visit the villages of Azrou and Ifrane, where you’ll explore the famous cedar forest, home to Berber apes. Continue to Midelt, passing through the Tiz Ntalghamt Mountain Pass and the Ziz Gorge, where we can pause for pictures and enjoy some local mint tea. Then, travel across the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani before arriving in the Sahara desert. At the Erg Chebbi dunes, you can opt for a camel ride to our desert camp. Enjoy a complimentary traditional dinner and music around a campfire under the starry desert sky.
Day 2: Merzouga – Midelt – Fes
Start early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, followed by an optional camel ride to the village for a complimentary breakfast at a hotel. Travel back towards Fes, stopping at Rissani and Erfoud along the way. Before reaching Fes, we’ll also visit Ifrane once more.
