DAY 1: RABAT – MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FES

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Rabat, heading towards the historic city of Meknes. As you enter Meknes, take in the splendor of this Imperial city, renowned for its unique blend of Islamic and European architecture. Explore the bustling medina, where the past comes alive in the form of ancient walls, ornate gates, and the lively atmosphere of the souks. DAY 2: IFRANE – ERFOUD – ZIZ VALLEY – MERZOUGA

Depart from Fes and journey through the lush landscapes of the Middle Atlas, stopping in Ifrane, a picturesque town often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its European-style chalets and gardens. After soaking in the refreshing ambiance, continue through the towering cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, home to the playful Barbary macaques. As you descend from the mountains, the landscape transforms into the vast, arid plains of the Ziz Valley, dotted with date palms and ancient ksars (fortified villages). Stop in Erfoud, known as the gateway to the Sahara, where you can see the process of fossil excavation before reaching the mesmerizing dunes of Merzouga. Here, you’ll embark on a magical sunset camel ride across the golden sands, arriving at a desert camp where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the star-studded sky, followed by an overnight stay in a nomadic tent.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES

Awaken early to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Sahara, casting a warm glow across the endless dunes. After breakfast, ride your camel back to Merzouga, where your journey continues towards the rugged Todra Gorges. Along the way, marvel at the changing landscapes, from the barren desert to lush oases.
