Day 1: Scenic Drive from Tangier to Fes via Chefchaouen

Begin your Moroccan adventure in Tangier, whether arriving by ferry or at the airport. Our journey takes us through the enchanting Rif Mountains and Tetouan, offering breathtaking views en route to Chefchaouen. Known for its iconic blue-washed streets, Chefchaouen is a picturesque village nestled at the Rif Mountains’ base, offering unique art shops, rooftop eateries, and charming cafes. After a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, we continue through the Rif Mountains and countryside, arriving in Fes by evening for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Exploring Fes and Journeying to the Sahara Desert

Start the day with a pickup from your Riad or hotel in Fes Medina, heading south through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. We’ll visit the quaint towns of Ifrane and Azrou, where you can spot Barbary Apes in their natural habitat within the cedar forests. Our journey continues through the Tizi N-Talghamt pass to Midelt and the stunning Ziz Gorges, transitioning from lush landscapes to the arid beauty near Errachidia. After lunch, we traverse the Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud and Rissani, ultimately arriving in Merzouga. Here, embark on a camel ride to a luxurious desert camp in the Erg Chebbi Sand Dunes, where you’ll spend a night under the mesmerizing Saharan sky.

Day 3: Sunrise in the Desert and Exploring Todra Gorge

Wake early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before riding camels back to Merzouga. We then drive towards Tinghir, home to the impressive Todra Gorges. Explore these stunning canyons and visit a local nomad family living in a cave. By evening, we reach the Dades Valley, a striking region in southern Morocco, for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Journey through the Heart of Morocco to Marrakech

Our adventure continues to Ouarzazate, traveling through the renowned route of a thousand Kasbahs and stopping at Kalaat Mgouna, famous for its annual Rose Festival. After capturing the beauty of Ouarzazate on camera, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, a famed filming location for movies like “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Gladiator,” as well as the HBO series “Game of Thrones.” Crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass at 2260 meters, we conclude our tour in the vibrant city of Marrakech.
