7 Days Itinerary Tour to Chefchaouen ‘Blue City’
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka Pass – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge
Your private tour begins with a scenic drive through the Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. We’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for movies like “Gladiator” and the HBO series “Game of Thrones”. Continuing to Ouarzazate, we’ll visit the Atlas Film Studios and a local Kasbah. Afterward, we’ll head to the Valley of Roses, renowned for its annual Festival of Roses, before reaching Dades Gorge for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert
Our journey continues by 4×4 through the colorful Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon outdoor enthusiasts love. We’ll drive through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, known for its fossils. Here, we’ll visit a fossil workshop before heading to Rissani’s local souk. Arriving in Merzouga, we’ll embark on a camel ride into the desert, overnight at the Merzouga Desert Camp with a traditional Berber dinner and music around a campfire.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert
Spend the day exploring the Merzouga desert at your leisure. Options include camel trekking or 4×4 exploration. We’ll visit Khamlia village, famous for its traditional music, and enjoy a sunset over the Sahara dunes. Overnight at a local riad.
Day 4: Merzouga – Midelt – Fes
After watching the sunrise, we’ll return by camel to a nearby hotel for breakfast and freshening up. We’ll drive through Rissani and Erfoud, stopping in Midelt for lunch before continuing to Fes for an overnight stay in a local hotel.
Day 5: Fes – Chefchaouen
Explore Fes, the oldest city in Morocco, navigating its narrow alleys and streets. Discover Fes el Bali (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Fes-Jdid, and Ville Nouvelle. Later, we’ll drive to Chefchaouen for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Chefchaouen – Marrakech
