3 Days Tour from Ouarzazate to Merzouga

Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura Palm Grove – Valley of Roses – Boutghrar – Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge

Begin your 3-day, 2-night desert adventure from Ouarzazate. After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your accommodation and head towards Todra Gorge. Our route takes us through the Skoura palm grove and the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs, where we’ll visit Kasbah Amrédhyle. Continuing to the Valley of Roses, we’ll travel along a 50 km track from Kalaa M’Gouna, visiting cave-dwelling nomads and enjoying tea while learning about their lifestyle. Next, we’ll explore the Dades Valley and the Kasbah of Ait Youl. Lunch will be in the stunning Dades Gorge, and by the afternoon, we’ll arrive at Todra Gorge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Todra Gorge – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

We begin the day with a walk through Todra Gorge. Then, we’ll proceed to Tinjdad and Touroug for lunch before heading to Erfoud, renowned for its marble and fossils. In the afternoon, we’ll arrive in Merzouga, where you can relax with tea before embarking on a camel ride to the highest dune to catch a beautiful sunset. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be in a Berber Khaima in the heart of the desert, under a sky full of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – N’kob – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the Merzouga dunes. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast and a shower before we journey back to Ouarzazate. We will explore the traditional medina and large souk of Rissani, then travel through Berber villages like Alnif, Tazarine, and N’kob, eventually reaching the Draa Valley to visit the Alkaid Ali Kasbah in Tamnougale. Our route continues through Tizi-n-Tinififft at 1660 meters altitude, concluding the tour in Ouarzazate at 5:00 p.m.
