Morocco Travel Road – Terms of Use

1. Introduction and acceptance

These Terms of Use govern your use of moroccotravelroad.com (the “Website”) and any tour, day trip, camel trek, desert activity or custom itinerary you book with Morocco Travel Road (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Website or making a reservation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

Morocco Travel Road is a travel agency based in Merzouga, Morocco. You can reach us at moroccotravelroad@gmail.com or +212 650-257154.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect bookings already confirmed, unless required by law.

2. Our services

We organise private and group tours across Morocco, including multi-day tours from Marrakech, Casablanca, Fes, Tangier, Rabat, Agadir, Ouarzazate and Errachidia, day trips, Sahara desert camps, camel trekking and tailor-made itineraries.

  • Itineraries, photos, durations and descriptions on the Website are for guidance. Exact routes, timings and accommodation may change because of weather, road conditions, local events or safety.
  • Some services (hotels, desert camps, activities, transport) are provided by independent local partners. We select them carefully, but they remain responsible for their own services.
  • Prices are quoted per booking or per person as stated in your confirmation. Unless your confirmation says otherwise, prices exclude international flights, travel insurance, visas, tips, personal expenses and meals or entrance fees not listed as included.
  • Travel content on our blog and FAQ pages is general information, not professional advice. Check official sources for entry rules, health and safety before you travel.

3. Bookings, payments, cancellations and refunds

A booking is confirmed only when we send you written confirmation (by email or WhatsApp) and receive any required deposit.

Booking. Submitting the reservation form or contacting us is a request, not a confirmed booking. You must give accurate details for every traveller and be at least 18, or book with a parent or guardian’s consent.

Payment. We accept payment by PayPal, bank transfer and cash in Morocco, as stated in your confirmation. A deposit of [30]% of the total price secures your booking. The balance is due [on the first day of the tour / X days before departure]. Prices are in [EUR / USD / MAD].

Cancellation by you. Please cancel in writing. These charges apply to the total tour price:

Changes by you. We will try to accommodate changes to dates or itineraries. Changes may cause price differences.

Changes or cancellation by us. If we must cancel for reasons within our control, we refund all money paid or offer an alternative tour. If an event beyond our control occurs (force majeure, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, epidemics, government restrictions or security risks), we may change or cancel the service. We will offer an alternative date or a refund of unused amounts, minus costs already incurred.

Refunds are made through the original payment method within [14] days. Unused services during a tour, such as skipped meals or excursions, are not refunded.

4. Your responsibilities as a traveller

  • Hold a valid passport, any required visa, and comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, evacuation and cancellation. We strongly recommend insurance for all travellers.
  • Tell us before booking about any medical condition, mobility need, allergy or dietary requirement. Camel trekking, quad biking, sandboarding and desert stays involve physical effort and natural risks; you take part at your own risk and must follow your guide’s safety instructions.
  • Respect local laws, customs and the dress guidance in our FAQ. We may end the service of anyone whose behaviour endangers others or breaks the law, without refund.
  • Be on time at agreed pick-up points. Delays caused by you may shorten activities without refund.

5. Limitation of liability

We act with reasonable care in organising your trip. To the extent permitted by Moroccan law, we are not liable for:

  • loss, injury, damage, delay or extra cost caused by you, by third parties unconnected to our services, or by force majeure;
  • the acts or omissions of independent suppliers, such as airlines, hotels and camps, beyond our reasonable control;
  • loss of or damage to personal belongings, money or valuables;
  • indirect or consequential losses.

Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the affected service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

6. Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse the Website, including by submitting false bookings, uploading harmful code, scraping content, or attempting unauthorised access. We do not guarantee the Website will be error-free or always available. Links to third-party sites, such as TripAdvisor, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Intellectual property

All text, photos, logos, itineraries and design on the Website belong to Morocco Travel Road or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish or sell any content without our written permission.

8. Reviews and content you share

If you send us reviews, photos or testimonials, you allow us to use them on our Website and social media, with your first name and country. We will remove them on request.

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal data. It forms part of these Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any complaint quickly and amicably. If we cannot, the competent courts of [Errachidia], Morocco, have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
